3 Easy Ways to Check Daily Petrol & Diesel Prices

The Oil Companies have come out with many initiatives to make the customer aware of daily Petrol & Diesel Prices.

With government’s new initiative of daily price revision in Petrol & Diesel from 16th June 2017 onwards at all Fuel Stations across the country, Oil Marketing companies in India have started many initiatives to make the customers aware of daily fuel price. The move is aimed to bring more transparency in the pricing mechanism and reduce sharp volatility in domestic petrol and diesel prices. The fuel prices would be revised every day at 6 am across the country.

The state-run Indian Oil, HPCL & BPCL account for more than 90 percent of fuel stations in the country and we will cover initiatives taken by above-mentioned companies to help the customer find daily prices at any location.

1. Mobile Apps

All the Major Oil Marketing companies i.e Indian Oil, BPCL & HPCL have launched their own mobile apps for Android & iPhones to keep their customers updated with daily prices at each fuel stations. All you need is to download the application and find the nearest fuel station to get the effective prices.

2.SMS Service

Oil Companies have announced an SMS service for consumers to check prices using their mobile phones. To avail this service, customers need to send an SMS to respective numbers.
The dealer code of each petrol pump would be prominently displayed in the petrol pump premises. Customers can also check the dealer code from Oil Company’s website.
