India largest two-wheeler company Hero Motocorp has removed 10 bikes from its website. Few of the removed models have been confirmed to get discontinued and rumors are sparking regarding the discontinuation of other removed models too.
The removed models are Hera Karizma R, Hunk, Xtreme, HF Dawn, Splendor iSmart ( 100 CC), Splendor NXG, Splendor Pro Classic, Passion Plus, Passion xPro and Ignitor. While the siblings of removed models i.e. Karizma ZMR, Xtreme Sports, Splendor ISmart (110CC), Splendor Pro, Splendor PlusHF Deluxe, Passion Pro I3S are still on sale. The trimming of listed models might have been done due to depleting sales figures.
The scooter portfolio at company’s website has not been touched and will continue to offer existing models. Also, few of the de-listed models are announced officially to be discontinued, it is unclear whether other models be discontinued or re-launched with some updates i.e. BS-IV compliant engines etc.
